I just finished a 4mile run! I felt great!! I was supposed to run at a slower pace, but ended up pacing at 10:05 per mile. That was my slow jog. Wow! Cool!!! I have been eating "vegan" gluten and soy free. I am curious as to how my athletic performance will be with no animal protein. Serena Williams proved it to me that greatness can be achieved eating this way....so watch out! I am committed!!!
Pilates in Paradise has a 10week Pilates Fitness Program. When I started this program for clients I was over 20pounds heavier, stressed, not exercising regularly (hardly at all), working tons, eating and drinking out at least 5nights a week. I would eat French fries, chicken wings, pork, sometimes red meat, of course chicken, fish, dairy, etc.... I was feeling tired and icky. My hair was even falling out. Glenda Soler, my darling hairdresser and great friend of 11years, told me to see a doctor because she was concerned.
I started taking JuicePlus again. My Savior!!! 25 servings of fruits and vegetables to the rescue!!!
PLUS I started walking/running with my friends and then added Greg, a 10week participant, to the mix. Having them to be responsible to, putting together a plan and helping them all improve their running ability with a 5k as a goal really helped me! I decided that I needed to do my own 10 weeker! I gave up all the "crap", kept chicken, fish, and dairy (cheese and yogurt:all organic and raw when avail). My energy levels skyrocketed and I got to add paddle boarding to the mix.....and my life turned around!
I soon after gave up the animal protein all together. I did reading, I analyzed how I felt, and I stopped just like I stopped smoking. One day just did it. I don't miss anything! Amazingly enough!! I had to change the paradigm that I had been lodged into by the various nutritional training I have had throughout my years.
I am thrilled to be on this journey, sharing with others, learning from others, inspiring others and being inspired. Wow. Cool. Fun. And Totally Awesome!
